Regardless of immunisation status, here are your hassle-free travel options:
Ireland
Early in March, Ireland eliminated its last Covid-related requirements for international travellers, including its passenger location form. Now, no pandemic-related paperwork will be required before departure or arrival, regardless of vaccination status.
Denmark
This Scandi city-break favourite lifted most Covid limitations in February, but on Monday night eased restrictions even for unvaccinated non-EU travellers – before, they needed a pre-travel test. Authorities said they may prohibit countries with new variations.
Norway
Norway was the first to remove all Covid restrictions on 12 February.
From February 12, 2022, visitors to Norway need just worry about having fun. From 2023 on, Brits will need an ETIAS visa to enter Norway.
Iceland
Iceland dropped all Covid restrictions on 25 February, like Norway, to attract tourists. No vaccination or quarantine for anyone.
Dominican Republic
Dominican Republic removed Covid and mask rules in mid-February.
Poland
Poland joined this list on Monday, 28 March, after removing the required mask rule on 23 March.
Warsaw and Krakow are now test- and mask-free.
Montenegro
Montenegro lifted its Covid entrance rules in mid-March, no longer requiring immunisation documentation or a negative test result.
Hungary
Since March 7, tourists in Hungary no longer need to be tested, vaccinated, or quarantined. Hungary is a terrific spring destination, whether in Budapest or further away, before summer temperatures soar.
Lithuania
Lithuania declared in late February that tourists from certain countries, including the UK, EU, and EEA, no longer need to present proof of vaccination or fill out a health questionnaire.
Vaccination status is irrelevant.
Slovenia
Slovenia lifted all travel restrictions in February. The recovered/vaccinated/tested condition has been lifted, making Slovenia an accessible, attractive destination for UK and Ireland travellers.”
Romania
Romania eliminated all remaining Covid restrictions on 9 March, making it popular with independent travellers and hikers.
Romania is one of the least-vaccinated countries in Europe, with 42% of the population having received two Covid-19 doses.
Madeira
Madeira was one of the more relaxing European locations for travellers. Since early March, tests, confirmation of vaccination, or isolation from vaccinated or unvaccinated tourists are no longer required, though mask requirements remain. However it advises all visitors fill out its “Epidemiological Survey” on the Madeira Safe website.
Sweden
This Scandi favourite dropped its Covid regulations on 1 April.
Non-EU visitors to Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö no longer need vaccination or test proof.
Justice and home affairs minister Morgan Johansson said the prohibition won’t be extended. Check your passport’s validity for three months after you depart and get it stamped on entry and exit.
Latvia
EU, EEA, and UK travellers no longer need vaccination or test results to enter Latvia as of 1 April. Outsiders must exhibit one of these (with children under 12 exempt). Medical masks or FFP2 respirators without a valve should be used on public transport, save for taxis and other commercial passenger transport, according to the Latvian tourist board website.
Moldova
Europe’s least-visited country abolished Covid restrictions on March 16. No immunisation certificate, test, or other paperwork is needed to enter.

Slovakia
Travelers to Prague and the Czech Republic no longer need to take a test or fill out a location form. Museum capacity limits have been abolished, however FFP2 facemarks are still required on public transit, in hospitals, and pharmacies.
Jamaica
Jamaica lifted Covid-related travel admin on April 15, including a pre-travel test. The same day, the Caribbean favorite’s mask rules were scrapped.
Cuba
Cuba abolished testing and immunisation restrictions on April 6. All travellers must make a health declaration online before travel. The country will continue to do random PCR testing on arrivals at its international airports, with the chance that you may test positive and have to go into government quarantine for 14 days at your own expense.
Croatia
Croatia eliminated its last Covid rules on May 1, making it a competitor for tourists who generally visit Italy’s coast and Greece’s islands. Vietnam
Mid-May, Vietnam became the first Asian government to eliminate Covid-19 travel and entrance requirements for aviation travellers, regardless of immunisation status. Arriving travellers by road, rail, or sea must take a PCR test and self-isolate until they get a negative response.
Israel
On 21 May, Israel dropped all remaining Covid travel regulations, including immunisation proof, pre-travel tests, and quarantine.
Italy
Italy removed all Covid border and entry requirements on 1 June, meaning you no longer need proof of vaccination or a test result to enter the country.
The form was dropped on 1 May.
It has held tough on the usage of FPP2 masks in public transport, hospitals, and health care institutions.
Greece
Greece removed Covid entry and border procedures on 1 May and mask requirements on 1 June.
Tourists entering Greece no longer need vaccination documentation or a negative test.
Public transportation and healthcare establishments still require face masks. Some indoor venues and events no longer need vaccination passports.
Cyprus
Cyprus lifted its immunisation requirement on 1 June. Public transportation and medical services still require masks.
Turkey
Turkey, a popular inexpensive holiday destination for Brits, eliminated all Covid restrictions on 1 June. Passengers entering Turkey no longer need vaccination or PCR test proof.
Armenia
Armenia, a former growing travel destination along with Georgia, will no longer require a PCR test or vaccination certificate from 1 May 2022. Masks are now only required on public transportation and in taxis.
Oman
This middle eastern adventure destination lifted all Covid restrictions, including vaccination evidence and mask requirements, on May 22. Your airline may have additional regulations (e.g., requiring a negative PCR test before boarding, wearing a mask, etc.)
Germany
Germany’s tourist board said all Covid-related travel restrictions have been abolished as of 11 June.Germany.info certifies that immunisation, recovery, or a negative test result are no longer required for entry. Germany, like Italy, requires FPP2 masks on public transit.
Estonia
Estonia removed Covid travel restrictions for third-party nations like the UK and EU countries on 16 June.
Egypt
Foreign Office amended Egypt travel advisory to reflect expiration of Covid regulations. Travelers entering or arriving in any part of the country no longer need immunisation evidence (previously a requirement for Red Sea areas such as Hurghada).
Rules changed on June 20.
Zimbabwe
South Africa lifted travel bans on June 22. Tourists no longer need to present documentation of a Covid vaccination at the border or undergo testing or quarantine before entering the country, regardless of immunisation status. Pre-flight PCR or antigen tests were required for anyone 12 and older who had not been fully vaccinated. Also, restrictions on gathering sizes and the mask need in crowded indoor situations and on public transit have been lifted.
Finland
Finland will lift all travel restrictions on June 30.
The Visit Finland website announced that COVID-19-related entrance restrictions will disappear on June 30, 2022. EU, Schengen, and third-country travellers arriving in Finland will no longer need vaccination or Covid-19 test certificates, and border Covid-19 testing will be eliminated. Only fully vaccinated visitors could enter without a justification and had to present confirmation of immunisation.
Mauritius
Mauritius will abolish all Covid travel regulations on July 1, including visitor testing. Unvaccinated visitors had to self-isolate for seven days before taking a second Covid-19 test to be discharged. From 1 July on, visitors to Mauritius can enter without proof of vaccination, a test, or quarantine, albeit passports should be valid until the date of departure.
Australia
Australia is removing practically all border restrictions 19 weeks after reopening to international tourists.
People travelling to Australia no longer need to complete a Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD) to declare their Covid-19 immunisation status.
Changes begin at 3pm BST on Tuesday, July 5. (midnight on Wednesday 6 July in eastern Australia).
The termination of the obligation to show confirmation of vaccination lifts the prohibition on unvaccinated tourists and makes admission easier for vaccinated travellers, but it’s unclear if Qantas will continue to request proof of vaccination from its customers.

The Caribbean
Saint Kitts and Nevis, Anguilla, and the British Virgin Islands require testing for all visitors.
St Lucia, Antigua, the Bahamas, St Maarten, the Cayman Islands, and Barbados only test unvaccinated visitors.
Cuba, Jamaica, Grenada, the Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago have eliminated testing and quarantine procedures.
