Working within the travel and hospitality industry, we hear far too often the familiar story of how so many people simply lose their deposits, to the point where some just automatically expect this to happen. Here at DEFOES, all we ask for is that our guests vacate their property in the same condition that they found it in. If this happens as it usually does, we simply guarantee that our guests will be returned 100% of their deposit within 24 hours of vacating the property. As a safeguard for our guests, all deposits are sent to and handled by an independent third party escrow service that will hold your deposit on your behalf. Once you have checked out of your property and have left it in it’s original “as seen” condition, the escrow company will immediately transfer the return of your deposit. We naturally understand genuine wear and tear, and it is the objective of DEFOES to welcome you back to stay with us many times long into the future, and we understand that this is all about developing trust in our brand and the services we provide.
