Bachelor parties are the last chance for the lucky groomsman to have fun with his friends before he gets married. It’s a weekend with just the guys, exploring a new city as a proper send-off party.

But how do you choose a place where you’ll never forget spending a wild weekend? Bars, clubs, nightlife, and sporting events are a must. We love a nice bar, but we can also have a good time at a dive bar. If you don’t like drinking and want to have a good time with your group, you could go somewhere that has adventure and nature instead of kegs of beer.

Here are some of the most popular places in the United States for bachelor party getaways…

Defoes LifeStyle
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Many people think that Nashville, Tennessee is where bachelor parties are held, and we can see why. There are a lot of bars on Broadway that have a southern accent and good live music because, well, it is Music City. Your group of guys will have a good time no matter what the mood is.

AUSTIN, TEXAS
Are you ready for an old-fashioned hoedown in Austin, Texas?
Go to Wild Greg’s Saloon and ride their mechanical bull to see how long you can last. From Rainey Street to Congress Avenue, there are a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from. Barton Springs in Zilker Park is a fun way to spend the day. It is a public pool filled with spring water.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Atlanta is a great place for the groom who wants more than just a fun night out. Explore the area’s craft breweries, whiskey bars, and high-end clubs, where you might even run into a celebrity. Atlanta is a good place for many people in a wedding party who are coming from different cities.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Take your friends out to West Hollywood and spend the day hiking up to Griffith Observatory to get rid of that hangover. Along Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, there are too many good places to eat. Taking a surf lesson as a group in Manhattan Beach would be a fun thing to do. Make sure you stop at In-N-Out at least once, no matter what you do.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
It is called the “city that never sleeps,” after all. Manhattan has some of the best places to go out at night, whether you want to go to a fancy rooftop bar like the Jimmy, a funky place like House of Yes in Brooklyn, or a local dive bar in the East Village. Before going to a Nets game at Barclays, spend the day at Domino Park and eat some of the best pizza in Williamsburg.

OAHU, HAWAII
Hawaii’s island of Oahu is the best place to get away from it all. Waikiki’s nightlife includes cocktail bars along the water and real hula shows.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
The “Big Easy” knows how to have a good time. You can’t go wrong in this city, which is known for its nightlife that goes on until sunrise, its weird live music, and its Southern food. Take a swamp tour after a night of exploring the French Quarter, and you might see some crocodiles.

HILTON HEAD, SOUTH CAROLINA
In Hilton Head, South Carolina, men can play their favourite sport on an 18-hole course. The plan is to have drinks on the dock, walk around the beach town, and see dolphins. They are also known for having some of the best seafood in the world and for making Hushpuppies, which are cornmeal-batter dough balls that are deep-fried and taste good.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
Las Vegas is a popular destination for bachelor parties for a good reason. Sin City’s motto is “what happens here stays here,” and the city is full of things to do day and night, from pool parties to clubs, casinos, shows, and more. When you’re done partying, you can take a short drive outside of Vegas to find lots of hikes, like the one to the Arizona Hot Springs.

AVON, COLORADO
Avon, Colorado, which is west of Vail, is at the bottom of Beaver Creek on Eagle River. It’s a snowy party for people who like to try new things. Jonathan Spears, the founder of Spears Group, says, “Even if you don’t live at a high altitude, you can still enjoy the views of Beaver Creek Mountain.” With its own gondola, it also has direct access to Beaver Creek Mountain.

MIAMI, FLORIDA
No matter how many times you’ve been to Miami, it’s always fun to go with friends. On South Beach, clubs stay open until the early morning. Take the day to do water sports, like boating or riding jet skis.
