This is an update on what’s new in Panama City for the year 2023.
It’s not that college students drink alcohol or anything like that (wink, wink), but Duplin Winery is opening a new site in the United States this spring, and it will be only the third one in the entire country.

If we are still on the subject of food, we should mention that Parlor Doughnuts is now open for business. This well-liked craft doughnut and coffee business, which first opened its doors in Evansville, Indiana, has just established a new site in Panama City Beach. It has brought with it a variety of unique doughnut varieties, artisanal breakfast options, and speciality coffees to the region. In addition to its tasty and one-of-a-kind “layered doughnut,” Parlor provides a wide variety of options that cater to a variety of dietary preferences, such as vegan, gluten-free, and keto-friendly foods.

Participate in what the local youth are doing at the recently opened skate park.
It is anticipated that the Bay County Skate Park at the Panama City Beach Sports Complex will open for business in April of this year. This facility will cost $2 million and cover 20,000 square feet.
Try your hand at BigShots Golf if you’d rather do something that’s a little bit slower and a little bit less risky. Oasis Resorts and the high-tech entertainment and dining facility are collaborating to announce the opening of a new franchise-owned location in Panama City Beach. There are plans to incorporate indoor and outdoor putting courses, an elevated sports bar, and a two-story tee line with around 60 interactive climate-controlled tee boxes on the course, all of which will make it accessible to guests of varying ages and levels of experience.
Don’t be concerned about finding a place to stay. This is a town that caters to tourists.
