Paris’s iconic Champs-Élysées is about to undergo a remarkable transformation, turning into a massive picnic site on Sunday, May 26. Organised by the Champs-Élysées committee and LG Electronics France, this unique event promises an unforgettable experience for 4,000 lucky attendees, with free picnic baskets and a car-free avenue filled with French delicacies and outdoor games.

  • Date: Sunday, May 26
  • Venue: Champs-Élysées, from the Arc de Triomphe to Avenue George V
  • Tickets: Entry will be awarded through a ballot system.
  • Setup for the Picnic: We will divide the avenue into nine zones, each offering different French delicacies and outdoor activities. A giant red and white checkered picnic rug, measuring 216 metres long, will accommodate up to six people per square.
  • Sittings: Attendees can choose from two sittings: 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm.
  • Record-Breaking Potential: With an area of 4,212 square meters, the event could set a Guinness World Record for the largest picnic ever held.

  • Ballot Entry: Groups of up to six can enter the ballot together.
