Apple Unveils Entertainment Features for Apple Vision Pro Mixed-Reality Headset Launch

Apple has revealed a range of entertainment experiences available at its mixed-reality Apple Vision Pro headset launch on February 2. Key features include:

  1. Content Access: Users can download and stream content from various streaming services, including Disney+, ESPN, MLB, PGA Tour, Max, Discovery+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Peacock, and more.
  2. 3D Movies: The headset will feature 3D versions of popular movies like “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Dune,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and “The Super Mario Bros.” Users can access 3D versions of eligible movies on the Apple TV app, and streaming apps like Disney+ will offer 3D versions of their films on Vision Pro.
  3. Apple Immersive Video: This new entertainment format includes 180-degree 3D 8K recordings with Spatial Audio. Immersive films and series, such as “Adventure” and “Wild Life,” will be available at launch.
  4. Travel Mode: The Vision Pro will feature a “Travel Mode” that stabilises visuals for use on planes, enhancing the viewing experience during travel.
  5. Guest Users: A “Guest Users” feature allows users to share specific apps and experiences with others.

Apple aims to position the Vision Pro as the “ultimate entertainment device,” offering a blend of immersive content, 3D movies, and advanced features to enhance the user experience.
