Where better to experience the flavours of Italy than in its capital, the magnificent Rome? Not only do you get art, history and architecture, you also get a selection of some of the best food the country has to offer.
5-years-ago the most exotic beer you’d find in a pub was Hoegaarden. Fast forward to today and there are so many cracking craft beers to choose from. Honestly, the choose in almost endless, more than you can do in a night anyway. Most pubs even have Beavertown on draft nowadays (which I absolutely love by the way).
Amsterdam is one of those rare cities that has something to offer all year-round. But there’s just something so special about summer in Amsterdam that really sets this city apart.
The capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is best known for the breathtaking architecture sitting along the shores of its elaborate canal system. It’s famous for its artistic heritage, streets packed with cyclists, and its semi-notorious Red Light District.

U.S. consumer prices increased 8.5% in March from the year prior — the highest annual ascent seen since 1981, according to the latest Consumer Price Index figures released Tuesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. However, two segments that will heavily affect travelers — fuel and hotels — saw price surges well above the national average.
Hotel prices are up 29% from a year ago, bested only by a 70% increase in fuel oil, a 48% increase in gas prices and a 35% increase in the price of used cars. Airfare price increases, at 24%, came in just below the hotel sector.

That’s a big change from just a couple of months ago when TPG’s Scott Mayerowitz snapped this photo at LaGuardia on Jan. 11.
To kick off our journey to Hawaii, we flew American Airlines’ A321neo first class from Tampa to Los Angeles. I’ve never reviewed American’s A321neo before, so this seemed like a good opportunity, especially since American recently reinstated pre-pandemic service in first class.
For a non-premium transcon flight on American, this ended up being a pretty great experience. It was also quite entertaining, because I swear just about everyone in first class was off-their-rocker drunk. I guess that’s what people do when traveling late at night on a Friday?
we flew Qatar Airways’ Airbus A320 business class from Doha to Salalah. While we ended up getting Qatar Airways’ old regional business class, the supervisor on this flight was spectacular, and made this a memorable flight. On top of that, Qatar Airways’ service offering on short haul flights in the middle of the night is simply unrivaled.
The sculptures faces have different expressions and have a very powerful look. They are placed on a beautiful field just beside the water, and it is just a stunning setting! We went there during sunset, and we were completely mindblown. That something like this existed in Denmark, was something we couldn’t believe. It truly reminds us of the Easter Islands.
