South Africa is a wonderful country to visit at any time of year but it is particularly appealing during the cold winter months in the UK. Often Africa is left aside when looking for a luxury escape from everyday life. Since my last post there have been a number of developments in Iceland. Many positive and some that require re-examining. Therefore I have dedicated this month’s blog post to adding additional information and including any changes. The question posed 1 month ago was, ‘Is it now the right time to come to Iceland?’
We are hungrier now more than ever before to marvel at the wonders of the world as the ‘travel drought’ has made our wanderlust that much stronger and given us itchy feet. The time will come when the new normal will once again include some of your old holiday favourites as well as different and more meaningful experiences.
While travel at this time may be the furthest thing from your mind, I think it is a great time to be planning your next adventure. If living in a pandemic has taught me anything I would have to say the greatest lesson is to really appreciate nature and wildlife.
One of the countries that has handled this pandemic in an excellent way is the country of New Zealand. As a matter of fact they have done so well that they are very close to being able to declare that the virus has been eliminated, so that to me would be a great place to plan your next getaway!
