Port Hercule in Monaco is gearing up to host the crème de la crème of the yachting world for four unforgettable days this September. From the 27th to the 30th, the annual Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) will transform this iconic location into a haven for maritime enthusiasts and industry leaders, showcasing the latest breakthroughs in yachting.
Since its inaugural event in 1991, the MYS has consistently held its place as the zenith of the yachting universe. It’s an international extravaganza that unites the most awe-inspiring superyachts and megayachts from around the globe, celebrating the opulent lifestyle and the innovative spirit accompanying yacht ownership. In a testament to its importance, this year’s MYS introduces a Sustainability Hub, underlining the significance of eco-conscious practices within the yachting community. The show proudly carries the High Patronage of His Serene Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco.
A Confluence of Excellence The show is divided into two primary exhibition areas: afloat and on the quayside. Afloat, you’ll find 120 yachts and approximately 50 luxurious tenders on full display. For those on the hunt for a new yacht, the MYS offers an unrivalled opportunity to witness the latest advancements in yachting, from cutting-edge superyacht designs to timeless megayachts. Visitors will be privileged to consult with esteemed yacht brokers, shipbuilders, naval architects, and designers who can provide expert insights and assistance throughout the purchasing process.
The show’s first day is an exclusive affair, by invitation only, with the Dockside Area reserved for superyacht owners and inquisitive yachters. This exclusive access allows guests to step aboard and admire the intricate craftsmanship that goes into crafting these majestic vessels.
Beyond the yachts, the MYS meticulously curates a selection of 560 companies, each representing excellence and innovation within the yachting industry. Whether it’s a luxury charter company offering exotic destinations, a chef or mixologist creating bespoke menus, or a water sports equipment provider offering unique experiences, the MYS is the ideal venue to explore services that can enhance your yachting adventures. In recent years, the MYS has broadened its scope to encompass other luxury sectors intrinsically linked to superyachts, including tech-driven yachting solutions companies, luxury automobile and motorcycle manufacturers, and helicopter and private jet builders.
