
Royal finances show the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Caribbean tour cost more than £226,000.

In March 2022, the Prince of Wales will visit Cornwall. He will fly there in a helicopter. Charles flew to Belfast and around Northern Ireland in May 2021 on a chartered plane and a helicopter, which cost more than £29,600.
On their annual trip to Wales in July, the prince and the Duchess of Cornwall also took a helicopter ride, which cost £15,920.
In November, before his official trip to Jordan and Egypt, Charles took a helicopter for the 70-mile trip from London to RAF Brize Norton.
The total cost of Charles and Camilla’s trip, which took them to Amman, Cairo, and Alexandria, was more than £123,500. This cost included the charter plane, the helicopter, and regular flights for staff.
In 2021 and 2022, the royal family took 179 official helicopter trips that cost less than £15,000 each. This cost over £906,000.
The Duke of York, Charles’s disgraced brother, was known for using helicopters a lot, which cost the taxpayers a lot of money.
In June 2021, the Queen will take the royal train to Scotland for Royal Week. This trip will cost more than £46,400. In May 2021, William and Kate’s trip to Scotland by charter flight and helicopter cost nearly £45,200.
